Authorities confirmed Tuesday they are in possession of the speedboat that killed teen ballerina Ella Riley Adler, 15, as she water skied with friends last Saturday. Adler died after being struck by the vessel in Key Biscayne close to Miami in what investigators described as a 'hit and a run.' The boat was located outside a home in Coral Gables in an exclusive Hammock Oaks and Lakes gated community where homes sell for seven figures. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said the owner of the boat is co-operating with the investigation. It is not clear if the owner was driving at the time of the tragedy. Adler was laid to rest on Monday where she was celebrated as a 'star' and 'force of nature.'

The Prime Minister of Slovakia has been 'shot and wounded and taken to hospital,' local reports have claimed. Robert Fico, 59, was shot in Handlova, north-east of Bratislava, following a Slovak government meeting. Shots were fired in front of the House of Culture, before a man was quickly pounced upon and detained by security officials. A witness told Slovakian news site Dennik , that Fico had left the building to greet people who had gathered to catch a glimpse of him before 'several shots were fired'. Fico then reportedly fell to the ground, where she claimed to have seen wounds to his head and chest.

President Joe Biden has proposed two debates with Donald Trump, throwing down the gauntlet in a video message directed at his rival, where he taunts him with 'I hear you're free on Wednesdays.' Trump, who is in his fourth week of a hush-money trial in New York, is required by the judge to be in court for testimony. Wednesday is the only day the court is not in session. Biden is proposing their first debate be in late June and the second would occur in September before early voting begins. He proposes a vice presidential debate in July.

The nine stations can be seen without any of the cables attached to them as Beckler shows the core of the heavy duty cable, which is clearly rich in copper. The couple who left left Abuja yesterday following a three-day visit, were photographed getting into a car at the airport's 'Private Suites' facility. According to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex , their semi-royal tour was 'fantastic', with the couple adding that it will be the 'first of many memorable trips'.

California 's Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom went out of his way Tuesday to defend Prince Harry and Meghan's Archewell Foundation amid a scandal over late payment of a $200 filing fee, something that officials say has now been resolved. Newsom, considered by many to be a shining light in American liberal politics, was speaking at an event in the crime ridden Bay Area promoting a $3.3 billion investment in mental health treatment. Better Off Dead? was not that sort of documentary. It had no pretensions to being nuanced, balanced or open-minded. The New York Police Department has identified the man they suspect of punching Hollywood actor Steve Buscemi while he was out walking in New York City this past Wednesday. Police accused 50-year-old Clifton Williams of punching Buscemi in the face, leaving him bloodied and bruised. Williams is still being sought by the NYPD, the New York Daily News reported Tuesday night.

Dean McDermott responded to Tori Spelling's divorce filing by submitting his own legal documents on Monday. A miniature poodle named Sage took home first place at the 148th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show over the weekend. Her handler, Kaz Hosaka, participated in his final competition as he is set to retire after 45 years. Sage, from Houston, Texas, went up against six other finalist, as Mercedes, a German shepherd, came in second with her handler, Kent Boyles. Sage came from a non-sporting group and was the first female Best in Show since 2020.

Distressing video shows the horrific moment a 55-tonne truck plowed into the front of a car carrying 18 schoolchildren, killing all on board, after hurtling down the wrong side of the road in South Africa. In a case that shocked the country, dashcam footage from the cabin of the truck shows the huge vehicle hurtling down the wrong side of the road as oncoming traffic veers out of the way. The HGV, carrying a whopping 34 tonnes of coal, overtakes fifteen vehicles before smashing headfirst into a much smaller Toyota Station Wagon at more than 60mph.

After a week of massive solar storms, the Sun has just erupted with the biggest solar flare in half a decade. Stunning video captured by NASA's Solar Dynamic Observatory shows the moment the colossal explosion sent plumes of plasma hurtling into space. This blast of radiation is the largest since the start of the solar cycle in 2019 and was even bigger than the flares that triggered last week's stunning Northern Lights. Unfortunately, any hopeful stargazers will disappointed to hear that this massive flare is not likely to trigger any more auroras. However, experts warn that it could still lead to disruption for radios and GPS satellites around the world.
